Therefore the density of solid cylinder is 25 × 10⁴ kg/m³.

Given : The weight of the given solid cylinder rod is 2512 N.

radius of cylinder, r = 4 cm

height of the cylinder, h = 20 cm

To find : mass of sold cylinder = volume × density of solid cylinder

⇒m = V × d .....(1)

from Newton's 2nd law, F = mg

⇒F = V × d × g [ from eq (1). ]

⇒2512 N = πr²h × d × 10 m/s²

⇒2512 = 3.14 × (4 × 10¯² m)² × d × (0.2 m) × 10

⇒2512 = 3.14 × 16 × 10¯⁴ × 2 × d

⇒d = (2512 × 10⁴)/(3.14 × 16 × 2)

⇒d = 25 × 10⁴ Kg/m³

Therefore the density of solid cylinder is 25 × 10⁴ kg/m³.
