Answer:

 \frac{432}{9}  = 2n - 4 \\

Switch the sides

 =  2n - 4 =  \frac{ \cancel{432}  \:  \: ^{48} }{ \cancel9}  \\  \\  = 2n - 4 = 48

Add 4 to both sides

2n - 4 + 4 = 48 + 4 \\  \\ 2n = 52 \\  \\  \therefore \: n =  \frac{ { \cancel{52}} \:  \: ^{26} }{ \cancel2}  \\  \\   \red{\boxed { \green{n = 26}}}
