we know that the speed =distance travelled /total time taken .

here we have to given :-

Length of train =80metre.

Time taken =20second.

and length of platform =120m.

Therefore speed=length of train +length of platform /total time taken.

Speed of train =80m +120m/20s

=200m/20s

=20m/s.

Then speed in km/hr=20×18/5=72km/hr.

Hence option (a) 72km/hr is correct answer.
