Answer:

given =  44g of CaO

              28.4g of P₄O₁₀

to find = mass of calcium phosphate is obtained in a reaction.

solution =

    6CaO + P₄O₁₀ ⇒ 2Ca₃ (PO₄)₂

now for moles of  P₄O₁₀ = 28.4 / 28.4

                             P₄O₁₀ = 0.1mol

number of moles of CaO = 44.8/ 56

                               CaO  =  0.8mol

we can conclude that 1 mole of  P₄O₁₀ produce 2 mol ca3(PO₄)₂

0.1 mol P₄O₁₀produce 0.2mol Ca₃(PO₄)₂

mass of calcium phosphate is obtained in a reaction is MOLES X MOLAR MASS

∴ 0.2 X 310

∴ 62g

so, the mass of calcium phosphate is obtained in a reaction is 62g
