Solution :-

So,

→ Time taken to complete a piece of cross stitch = 48 minutes

then,

→ Time taken to complete 12 pieces of cross stitch = 12 × Time taken to complete a piece = (12 × 48) minutes .

now,

→ 60 minutes = 1 hour

→ 1 minute = (1/60) hour

→ (12 × 48) minutes = (1/60) × (12 × 48) = (48/5) = 9(3/5) hours = 9 hours + (3/5) × 60 = 9 hours , 36 minutes .

Hence, it takes 9(3/5) hours by Nora to complete a dozen pieces .
