45 men can complete a job in 16 days. Six days after they started working, 30 more men

joined them. How many days will they now take to complete the remaining work ?

let us consider that 45 men worked for x days
after x-6 days 30 men started working with them then the equation formed will be
x/45+ x-6/30=1
solving it we get x =108 days
