FOR MEN -



45 men complete work in 20 days



So 45 men one day work= 1/20



1 men one day work = 1/20×45



FOR BOYS



60 boys complete work in 20 days



So 60 boys one day work= 1/20



1 boys one day work = 1/20×60



Now we have to find when both (15 Men & 20 boys) are working togethers



So 15 Men one day work = 15 × (one day work of one man)



= 15 × (1 / 20 × 45) =1/60



So 20 boys one day work = 20 × (one day work of one boys)



= 20 × (1 / 20×60) =1/60



Adding one day work of (15 Men) & (20 boys)



= 1/60 + 1/60



= 2/60



= 1/30



This means 15 Men and 20 boys does 1/30 fraction of work in one day



Thus, they would complete the work in



30 days.

Then, 1 men = (60/45) = 4/3 boys.

= > 15 men = (4/3) * 15 = 20 boys.

So,

Total boys = 20 + 20 = 40

Now,

Given 60 boys can do a work in 20 days.

Then, 40 boys can do the same work in (20 * 60)/40 = 30.



Therefore, 15 men and 20 boys can complete the work in 30 days.
