Hey friend...

Females = 100-45 = 55

55% = 11000

1% = 11000/55 = 200

45% =
200 \times 45 = 9000 \: males

Hope it helps you

HEY MATE!!!

HERE IS THE SOLUTION
======================

GIVEN:-

PERCENTAGE OF MALE IN VILLAGE = 45%

PERCENTAGE OF FEMALE IN VILLAGE = 100% - 45% = 55%

POPULATION OF FEMALE IN VILLAGE = 11000

FIND:-

POPULATION OF MALES = ?

TOTAL POPULATION = ?

SOLUTION:-

LETS ,

FIRST TAKE A TOTAL POPULATION BE X AND MALE POPULATION BE Y.

FIRST , WE HAVE TO FIND THE TOTAL POPULATION IN ORDER TO FIND THE MALE POPULATION...

 \frac{11000}{x}  \times 100 = 55\%
 \frac{1100000}{x}  = 55\%
 1100000 = 55x
 \frac{1100000}{55}  = x
x = 20000
TOTAL POPULATION (X) = 20000

NOW ,

WE HAVE TO FIND MALES POPULATION

 \frac{y}{20000}   \times 100 = 45\%
 \frac{y}{200}  = 45\%
y = 45 \times 200
y = 9000
MALE POPULATION IS 9000
