As We know that the average age of a woman and her daughter is 25 yr.

♣ Ave. age of two Person = 2 × Av. age

♣ 2 × 25 = 50 years

Let the age of woman and daughter be 7x and 3x Respectively.

→ 7x + 3x = 50

→ 10x = 50

→ x = 50/10

→ x = 5

  • Woman's age = 35 years
  • Daughter's age = 15 years

Ratio of their ages after 9 years will be,

→ (35 + 9)/(15 + 9)

→ 44/24

→ 11/6

→ 11:6

Hence,

The Ratio of their ages after 9 yr will be 11:6.
