Each student cleaned 1/630 part of the school.

GIVEN

450 student of a school participate in cleaning their school in in keep your school clean complete they clean 5/7th of the school.

TO FIND

The work done by each student.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given that Number of students who participated to clean school = 450

Fraction of School area cleaned by 450 students = 5/7

To calculate the area of the school cleaned by each student we will simply divide the total school area cleaned by each student.

Area of the school cleaned by each student = Total Area of the school cleaned/Total number of students participated.

Therefore,

Area cleaned by each student =

 \frac{5}{ \frac{7}{450} }

We know that when fractions are divided the reciprocal of the divided is multiplied to the divisor.

 =  \frac{5}{7}  \ \times  \frac{1}{450}

= 1/630.

Hence, Each student cleaned 1/630 part of the school.
