As Per Given,

 =  >  - 46 - 2k =  - 10 + k \\  =  >  - 46 + 10 = k + 2k \\  =  >  - 36 = 3k \\  =  > 3k =  - 36 \\  =  > k = -   \frac{ 36}{3}  \\  =  > k =   - \frac{\cancel{36}}{\cancel{3}}  \\  =  > k =  - 12
