bulb continues to glow

Answers
B
No, series circuit bulbs stop glowing
Hint : Appliance are connected in parallel so that breakdown of one does not affect others.
Step 1 : Check whether the connection is series or parallel
Given : Three bulbs 100 W each are connected once in series (Case 1) and once in parallel (Case 2)
In case 1 bulbs are connected in series so, if any of the bulbs fuses the circuit breaks and no current will flow through it. Hence no bulb will glow.
Whereas, in case 2 the bulbs are connected parallel, if any of the bulb fuses the other bulbs work properly as current now flows through the other branches of the circuit.
Thus, in the first circuit rest of the bulbs will not continue to glow whereas in the second circuit rest of the bulbs will glow even if one of the bulb fuses.
