2 => (a) Air is Used to inflate tyres because Air is compressible and can be compressible upto some extent of pressure

(b) Steel is Used to make railway lines or path because it has the ability to expand . It is also because when it expands it only becomes bigger, and does not change it shape, making sure it is safe to travel by train
