the cost price of 3 m of the same cloth. Find the

SP of 10m = CP of 10m - CP of 3m

Let CP of 1m of cloth = x

From Eqn 2,

SP of 1m = (7/10)*x

Loss = CP - SP

        = x - (7/10)*x

        = x - 0.7x

        = 0.3x

Loss% = 100*(Loss/CP)

           = 100*(0.3x/x)

           = 100*0.3

           = 30

Loss made = 30%
