Let g(x)= x-1

f(x)=x3+4x2-px-6

Since the polynomial is completely divisible by (x-1).

Therefore g(x)=0

x-1=0

Therefore x=1

Putting the value of x in f(x) and we will get the value of 'p' through remainder theorem.

Therefore,

f(1)=1^3+(4x1)^2-(p x1)-6=0

1+16-p-6=0

11-p=0

Therefore p= 11
