48+64=44,

(4 + 8 + 6 + 4 ) x 2

= 22 x 2

= 44

53+96=46,

(5 + 3 + 9 + 6) x 2

= 23 x 2

= 46

29+36=40

(2 + 9 + 3 + 6 ) x2

= 20 x 2

= 40

98 + 57 = ?

= (9 + 8 + 5 + 7 ) x 2

= 29 x 2

= 58

98 + 57 = 58
