Answer:The night before the Zonal Debate Competition, everyone was fast asleep, while I was practising. Suddenly there was a call from my cousin from the USA. I had picked up the phone and Atul and I sat talking. He was sure I would be asleep and he would just take a minute to speak to my Dad and ask about all of us. He asked about my school and studies and I told him about debate competition for the next day. He gave me a lot of points. I thanked my stars, for making him call us up at a time when I was really tensed. I was not at ease. I slept for a while and got up at the break of day. I tried to recollect and revise some of the points so that I could speak with finesse and keep the attention of the audience. I was the third speaker of the day. Would you believe it, there was no shaky start. I conveyed to the audience with the right tone of voice and I felt there was pin drop silence. I was speaking on the topic, 'Are we ready for Democracy'. I was speaking against and it was a tough thing to do. However, I stood out, my teachers and students gave me a standing applause. The results were declared and I had made my school win by a huge margin. That night I kept awake to thank Atul!
