Hey !

let the no. of students in the school be x

No. of boys = 48% of total students. = 48% of x

No. of boys = 96

As Both are same, equate them

=> (48/100) × x = 96

=> x = 9600/48

=> x = 200

Now, we have total Number of students.

No. of girls = Total No. of students - No. of boys

=> No. of girls = 200 - 96

=> No. of girls = 104.
