let the no. of students in the school be x
No. of boys = 48% of total students. = 48% of x
No. of boys = 96
As Both are same, equate them
=> (48/100) × x = 96
=> x = 9600/48
=> x = 200
Now, we have total Number of students.
No. of girls = Total No. of students - No. of boys
=> No. of girls = 200 - 96
=> No. of girls = 104.
