Answer:

(D) 2000

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of there profit is

Ramesh : Suresh

9000x10 : 6000x12

5:4

Sureshe's share = 4 x 4500

= 2000

The answer is option (D) 2000

Given: Ramesh and Suresh started business

Ramesh investment 9000 Rs for 10 months

Suresh investment 6000 Rs for 1 years (12 months)

Profit end of the year = 4500 Rs

To find: Share of Suresh in profit

Solution:

The Ratio of profit

= Ramesh's investment×time : Suresh's investment×time

⇒ 9000 × 10 : 6000 × 12

⇒ 9 × 10 : 6 × 12

⇒ 90 : 72   =10 : 8

The Ratio of profit = 10 : 8

⇒ Suresh's share = \frac{8}{18} (4500) = 2000 Rs

Therefore, Suresh's share = 2000 Rs
