48 sweets are to be distributed among three friends A , B and C in such a way that B gets 5 sweets more than A and C get 7 sweets more than A . Form and equation .

Answer:

X+5+x+7+x= 48

3x+12 = 48

-12 +3x +12= 48- 12

3x /3= 36/3

X= 12

Therefore a gets 12 sweets, b gets 17 sweets and c gets 19 sweets.
