24 g of water and water is a limiting reagent because it is in low quantity and can be exhausted earlier that hydrogen.

chesstini: Answer is 22.5g

1/2H2 + 1/2O2 --》H2O

1gm Hydrogen react with 16gm oxygen

As we can see oxygen is reqired in more amount as 4gm of H will require 64gm Oxygen.
Hence oxygen will we consumed fully as only 16gm is given and is limiting.

16gm O requires 1gm Hydrogen
20gm O requires 1/16×20=5/4gm Hydrogen

16gm O will give 18 gm water
20gm O will give 18/16×20=18×5/4
=22.5gm water

Hope it helps.
