mass percentage of the solution=mass of the solute ÷ mass of the solution
mass of solute=4g
mass of solution=36g
mass of the solvent= mass of the solute+mass of solution =4+36=40g
mass percentage of the solution =4/40g= 1/10g=0.1g
0.1g is the answer
Hope you got it.

Hola!

Given,

Mass of solute = 4g
Mass of solvent = 36g

Mass of solution = Mass of solute+ Mass of solvent
= 4g + 36g
= 40g

Mass percentage
= Mass of solute/Mass of solution × 100%
= 4/40 × 100%
= 10%

Thus ,
the mass percentage of solution is 10%

Peace out ✌️
