solubility at 25 degree celsius=100*4/40
                                               =40/4
                                               =10g
hope it is helpful..........

varsha145: hey, please explain in detail
dhonisuresh0703: 25 degrees is the room temp. so solubility in room temp. = mass of solute=mass of solvent %
dhonisuresh0703: 4 grams = 40/100
dhonisuresh0703: whichgives u the required result..........hope it is helpful..........

Answer: The solubility of solute in water at 25 ° C is 10 grams per 100 g water.

Explanation:

Mass of the solute = 4 grams

Mass of the solvent = 40 grams

Solubility=\frac{\text{mass of solute}}{\text{mass of solvent}}\times 100

=\frac{4}{40}\times 100=10 grams per 100 g water

So, the solubility of solute in water at 25 ° C is 10 grams per 100 g water.
