I assume the equation is p^2 -12p+80, because otherwise it would be too easy.
First take 4 Common from the equation.
It reduces to p^2 -12p+20.
Now take the factors of 20 such that adding or subtracting them would give -12.
p^2-2p-10p+20
P(p-2) -10 (p-2)
(P-2)(p-10)
So, p=2 &p=10.
Hope it helps.
