Given Expressions,

4p² - 3p - 10 and 30

Let 4p² - 3p - 10 be eq(i)

& 0p² + 0p + 30 be eq(ii).

[Since,  the coefficient of p² and p is zero in this Equation] .

On Adding both the Expression, we will get,

4p² - 3p - 10 + 30

= 4p² - 3p + 20

Hence, the answer is 4p² - 3p + 20 when the given expressions are added.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

Answer:

Addition of the expression:

 = 4p^{2} - 3p - 10 + 30\\ \\ \\ = 4p^{2} - 3p + 20

Since in second expression p^{2} and p are missing, so there is no change on these on result.

Point to remember:

While addition in algebra ,one should remember that like term add with like

term and the same rule is applicable in subtraction.

for example:

→ x and x are like

→ x and y are not like.

 x^{2} and x^{2} are like

→ x and x^{2} are not like

hope it helps you.
