Quadratic eqation :- 4s² - 4s + 1 = 0

To find : - The zeros of the equation.

Salutation :-

4s² - 4s + 1 = 0

( 2s )² - 2 . 2s . 1 + ( 1 )² = 0

( 2s - 1 )² = 0 [ • Using identity ]

( 2s - 1 ) ( 2s - 1 ) = 0

Now either ,. Nor ,

( 2s - 1 ) = 0. ( 2s - 1 ) = 0

2s = 1. 2s = 1

s = 1 / 2. s = 1 / 2

•°• The zeros of the equation are 1 / 2 and 1 / 2 [ • REQUIRED ANSWER ]
