<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Solution below.
====================================

♠ 4 whole (1/8) + 2 whole (1/2)

 = 4 \frac{1}{8}  + 2 \frac{1}{2}

♦ Converting into improper fraction -

 =  \frac{4 \times 8 + 1}{8}  +  \frac{2 \times 2 + 1}{2}

 =  \frac{32 + 1}{8}  +  \frac{4 + 1}{2}

 =  \frac{33}{8}  +  \frac{5}{2}

♦ Taking LCM = 8,

 =  \frac{33 + 4(5)}{8}

 =  \frac{33 + 20}{8}

 =  \frac{53}{8}

 = 6 \frac{5}{8}

•°• Your answer is 6 whole (5/8).
