4x - 1 / 5x -1 = 5/7

Now by cross multiplying;

(4x - 1 ) ( 7) =( 5x-1 )( 5)

=> 28 x -7 = 25 x - 5

=> 28 x- 25 x= -5 +7

=> 3 x = 2

Hence x= 2/3 = 0.6
