4x-2=14 ,then transpose -2 to R.H.S THEN IT WILL BECOME +2 so the equation is 4x=14+2,so 4x=16 so ,x=4/16=4

Given equation 4x - 2 = 14

\\

» Left Hand Side (LHS)

Putting the value of x in Left Hand Side of the equation.

4x - 2

= (4 × 4) - 2

= 16 - 2

= 14

\\

» Right Hand Side (RHS)

= 14

\\

Left Hand Side (LHS) = Right Hand Side (RHS)
