6x-y=0

write any variable in terms of other and put the value in 1 st eq.

I take

x= y/6

now substitute x in 1 st eq.

which becomes

4(y/6) +2/3y-1

now solve

we get

(4y+12) /6*(3y-1)

now solve

after getting y put the value of y in 2 nd eq to find x
