Solution :-

4 {x}^{2}  + ax + 9 =  {(2x + 3)}^{2} \\ R.H.S=  {(2x + 3)}^{2}   \\  using \:  {(p+ q)}^{2}  =  {p}^{2}  + 2pq +  {q}^{2}  \\  = 4 {x}^{2}  + <strong>12</strong>x + 9 \\  a = 12
