Answer:

first we need to find the value of k

so,

x + 1 = 0

x = -1

f(x)= 4x^{2} + kx + 5

f(-1) = 4(-1)^{2} + k × -1 + 5

f(-1) = 4 -1K +5

f(-1) = 9-1K

∵ the equation is divisible by x+1

∴ f(-1) = 0

∴ 0=9-K

k=9

∴ f(x) = 4x^{2} + 9x + 5

to find another factor,

factors of 5 = ±1 , ±5

f(1) = 4(1^{2} ) + 9 × 1 + 5

f(1) = 4+9+5

equation remainder ≠ 0

next ,

f(-5) = 4(-5^{2} ) + 9×-5 + 5

f(-5)= 4×25 - 45 + 5

f(-5) = 105 - 45 ≠ 0

hence x+1 is the only factor

if u want u can try like me above but x+1 is the only factor
