Solution :-

We need to find ,

  • x in 4x - ( 2x - 1 ) = 3

By simplifying the given equation

⇒ 4x - ( 2x - 1 ) = 3

⇒ 4x - 2x + 1 = 3

⇒ 2x + 1 = 3

⇒ 2x = 3 - 1

⇒ 2x = 2

⇒ x = 2 ÷ 2

x = 1

Hence , x = 1

Verification :-

Substituting the value of x in the given equation , if LHS = RHS then our answer is correct

➸ 4 ( 1 ) - [ 2 ( 1 ) - 1 ] = 3

➸ 4 - [ 2 - 1 ] = 3

➸ 4 - [ 1 ] = 3

➸ 4 - 1 = 3

3 = 3

LHS = RHS

Hence , verified
