4x/2x+7=3 solve the equation

4X/2X+7=3
4X+7=3 * 2X
7-3=2X-4X
4= - 2X
X= -2

4x = 3(2x+7)
4x= 6x+21
4x-6x=21
-2x=21
X =-21/2
