let take that P(x) = 4x³-124x+120

[ First you need to take a common so what will we put instead of value 'X' to get

p(x) zero like if we put '1' in value of 'x' we will get p(x) value zero like

p(x) = 4(1)³-124(1)+120 = 0. so take common (x-1) if will not get when you put value "" 1 ""

then put 2 and get common (x-2) then what will we multiply to get p(x) to (x-1)

we know p(x) = q(x)×g(x) p(x)/g(x) = q(x). p(x)/(x-1) = q(x). 4x²+4x-120 = q(x)

here q(x) is a Quotient then follow below steps ]

= (x-1) [(4x²+4x-120)]

= (x-1) [(4x²+24x-20x-120)]

= (x-1) [(4x(x+6)-20(x+6)]

= (x-1)(4x-20)(x+6)
