See the first equation

4x - 3y = 0

4x = 3y

x =  \frac{3y}{4}  \\

Now see the second equation

7x - 4y = 36

7( \frac{3y}{4} ) - 4y = 36 \\

(5.25)y - 4y = 36

(1.25)y = 36

y = 28.8

We know that

x =  \frac{3y}{4}  \\

x =  \frac{3 \times 28.8}{4}  \\

x = 21.6
