when the line 4x-3y+12=0 touch x-axis
the y coordinate will be zero. therefore
at y=0 , coordinate of x=
4x -3(0)-12=0 i.e x=-3.
hence A is (-3,0)..
the equations of the line passing through A
and perpendicular to 4x-3y+13=0,
is
-3x-4y+ C=0 ......1
as it passes through A
A will satisfy the line.
therefore putting A
we get , -3(-3)-4(0)+C=0
9+C=0
C= -9
put C in equation 1.
we get
-3x-4y-9=0
or multipling by -1
3x+4y+9=0
