hey !!! 4x -- 17-3y then, x -- 17-3y /4 putting this value in equation (2) ; 3 ( 17 -3y/4) -4y plus 6 - 0 then, 17x3 - 3x3y /4 -4y plus 6 - 0 then, 51 - 9y /4 - 4y plus 6 -0 then, 51 -9y - 16y plus 24 /4 -0 then, 75 -25y - 0so, 75 - 25y so, 75/25 -y hence; y - 3 & y -- 3 put in equation (1) then, 4x plus 9 -17 so, 4x - 17-9 then, 4x - 8 hence, x -2 hence :- x-2 & y- 3

Given Equation is 4x + 3y = 17  --------- (1)

Given Equation is 3x - 4y + 6 = 0  ---------- (2)

Equation (1) can be written as,

4x = 17 - 3y

x =  \frac{17-3y}{4}   --------------- (3)

Substitute (3) in (2), we get

3 *  \frac{17-3y}{4} - 4y + 6 = 0

 \frac{3(17 - 3y)}{4} - 4y = -6

51 - 9y - 16y = -24

51 - 25y = -24

-25y = -24 - 51

-25y = -75

y = 3.

Substitute y = 3 in (1), we get

4x + 3y = 17

4x + 3(3) = 17

4x + 9 = 17

4x = 17 - 9

4x = 8

x = 2.

Hope this helps!
