4x-3y= -7. eq 1

7x+8y= -9. eq 2

multiply eq 1 by 8

32x-24y= -56 eq 3

multiply eq 2 by 3

21x+24y= -27 eq 4

add eq 3 and 4

53x= - 83

x = -83\53
