Step-by-step explanation:

(4x+4)(ax-1)-x²+4

4ax²+4ax-4x-4-x²+4

4(ax²+ax-x)-x² (+4 and -4 will be cancelled)

4ax²+4ax-4x-x²=bx

4ax+4a-4-x=b. (taking x as common)

x(4a-1)+4(a-1)=b

this will not result in an unique solution
