multiply eq. (2)by 5
we get
5(2x+y-6)= 5x0 ............( 2)
=10X +5y-30=0.........(3)
adding eq. (1) and (3)
4x-5y+16 +10X +5y-30 = 0 +0
=> 14x-I4 = 0
=> 14x = 14
So, X=1
Putling the value of X in eq. (1)
4x-5y+16=0
4X1-5y + 16=O
=> 4 - 5 y+16=0
=>- 5 y= -20
So, y=4
