STEP 1:

Equation at the end of step 1

(4x - 5y + 6z) • 2) + 2 • (4x + 5y - 6z)

STEP 2:

Equation at the end of step 2

2 • (4x - 5y + 6z) + 2 • (4x + 5y - 6z)

STEP 3:

Pulling out like terms

3.1 Pull out 2

After pulling out, we are left with :

2 • ( 1 * (4x-5y+6z) - (-1) * (4x+5y-6z) ))

Final result :

16x

I hope it helps you...

Given : (4x-5y+6z)²+(4x+5y-6z)²

To Find : Evaluate

Solution:

(4x-5y+6z)²+(4x+5y-6z)²

= (4x- (5y-6z))²+(4x+(5y-6z))²

(a - b)² = a² - 2ab +  b²

(a + b)² = a² + 2ab +  b²

a = 4x

b = 5y-6z

= (4x)² - 2(4x)(5y-6z)  + (5y - 6z)²  + (4x)²+ 2(4x)(5y-6z)  + (5y - 6z)²

= 2 (  (4x)²  + (5y - 6z)²)

= 2 ( 16x² + 25y² + 36z² - 60yz)

= 32x² + 50y² + 72z² - 120yz

(4x-5y+6z)²+(4x+5y-6z)² = 32x² + 50y² + 72z² - 120yz
