4x+6/y=15 and 6x-8/y=14 solve by elimination method

Let, 1/y=p

4x+6p=15....(1)

6x-8p=14......(2)

(1)×6

24x+36p=90...(3)

(2)×4

24x-32p=56...(4)

(3)-(4)

p=1/2

y=2

put y=2 in (1)

x=3
