x=9-6y/4                     -1

4x-2y+11=0                  -2

substituting value of 1 in 2

4(9-6y/4)-2y=-11

9-8y=-11

8y=20

y=5/2

now substitute the value of y in eq 1

4x+6y-9=0

4x+6(5/2)=9

4x+15=9

x=9-15/4

x=3/2
