Answer:

4x - 7(2 - x ) = 3x + 2

or, 4x - 14 + 7x = 3x + 2

or, 11x - 3x = 2 + 14

or, 8x = 16

or, x = 16/8

or, x = 2

Answer:

4 x − 7 ( 2 − x ) = 3 x + 2

=>4 x − 14 + 7 x = 3 x + 2

=>11 x − 14 = 3 x + 2

=>11 x − 14 = 3 x + 2

=> 8 x = 16

Finally, all we need to do is divide both sides by the coefficient of the  x  (i.e. the 8) to get the solution of  x = 2
