Here's the answer

Given equation =>

4x + 7.5 + 0.5x = -1.5

Solution =>

 \sf{4x + 0.5x + 7.5 = - 1.5}

 \sf{4.5x + 7.5 = - 1.5}

Taking the term 7.5 to the R.H.S,

 \sf{4.5x = -1.5 -7.5}

 \sf{4.5x = - 9.0}

 \sf{x = \frac{- 9}{4.5}}

 \sf{x \: = -2}

Thus,

Value of x is -2
