 \frac{4x + 7}{5x + 8} = \frac{1 - 4(x - 7)}{7} \\ \\ \frac{4x + 7}{5x + 8} = \frac{1 - 4x + 28}{7} \\ \\ \frac{4x + 7}{5x + 8} = \frac{29 - 4x}{7} \\ \\ 7(4x + 7) = (29 - 4x)(5x + 8) \\ 28x + 49 = 29(5x + 8) - 4x(5x + 8) \\

28x + 49 = 145x + 232 - 20x - 32x \\ 28x + 49 = 93x + 232 \\ 93x - 28x = 49 - 232 \\ 65x = - 183 \\ x = \frac{ - 18 3}{65} \\ \\ x = - 2.81
