Fine x and y .

Solution :

Here We have Two equations ,

4x+y=13 ____eq 1

7x-3y= - 1____eq 2

=》 Multiply eq 1 by 3

( 4x + y = 13 )3

12x + 3y = 39 ____eq 3

=Adding eq 2 and eq 3

7x - 3y + 12x + 3y = 39 - 1

19 x = 38

x = 38/19

x = 2

Here we got x = 2 .

= Putting the Value of x In eq 1

4x + y = 13

4 ( 2 ) + y = 13

8 + y = 13

y= 5
