Given : 4x²+3x+7

To Find :  split by middle term

Solution:

Looks mistake in data  as split by middle term is not possible as

Middle term is positive

and multiplications is also positive ( 4 * 7 = 28)

Hence both terms need to be positive

and maximum possible multiplication is

1.5 * 1.5  =  9/4

also 3² - 4(4)(7)  < 0 hence roots are not real

Question Could have been

4x²+3x-7

Then

4x²  -4x + 7x - 7

= 4x(x - 1) + 7(x - 1)

= (4x + 7)(x - 1)

4x²+3x-7 = (4x + 7)(x - 1)
