> 4x^2 + 4bx-(a^2 - b^2)
> 4x^2 - 4bx - a^2+b^2
> (2x)^2 - 2*2x*b+b^2-a^2
> (2x -b)^2 - a^2
> (2x-b +a) (2x-b +a)

Hope this helps :) Please do the examples of your book, they make it a lot easier.

KaranG: but it has some mistakes
KaranG: you were trying to do by completing the square method
BelleJiya: Where? Its hard type the answers for me..
KaranG: and answer is wrong
BelleJiya: oh wait...got it. I
BelleJiya: mind if I give the answer in comments?

4x²+4bx-(a²-b²)
= 4x²+4bx- (a+b)(a-b) =0
=4x²+2(a+b)x -2(a-b)x-(a+b)(a-b)
=2x(2x+a+b)-(a-b)(2x+a+b)
=(2x+a+b) [2x-(a-b)]
=(2a+a+b)(2x-a+b)

KaranG: correct it
BelleJiya: How did you manage to make it so short? cool
KaranG: I tell u you were trying to do it by completing the square but u were going wrong
KaranG: nd I already told that the question is by factorization
BelleJiya: yeah but when I corrected it...it was still long. Well my fault, sorry
KaranG: thnxxx bro
mysticd: Karan G , is it clear
KaranG: yes but can you tell me any trick to split the middle term
mysticd: Thank you selecting as brainliest
KaranG: your welcome
